France’s leading ISAC has chosen ThreatQuotient’s Threat Intelligence Platform
to help its members combat their adversaries effectively.
Paris, 7 October 2019 – ThreatQuotient™, a pioneer in the market of security operations platforms, and CIX-A, France’s leading ISAC, have joined forces to support CISOs in their day-to-day operations, focusing on 4 top priorities: threat status monitoring, data and information systems protection, anticipation, and mitigation.
Stronger together
In their defense against cyber threats, CISOs can readily access news about digital security, as well as analyses about known attacks routinely reported in the media, and receive security alerts from vendors. However. they do not necessarily have a 360-degree view of the threat landscape, nor have all the needed threat intelligence at their fingertips so that they can better understand their adversaries or counter cyber attacks effectively. In addition, CISOs do not systematically share the techniques used to speed up detection and incident response with their peers.
This is where CIX-A comes in. Their goal is to actively share intelligence about cyber threats between businesses as well as public and private bodies. The idea is that for a specific purpose – pooling intelligence resources – each CISO can receive and share publicly available information, alerts from publishers, or information about their own company.
A technical tool for threat analysis
CIX-A was keen to acquire a professional cyber threat intelligence management and operational tool for those members who are prepared to exchange and collaborate, to give them a way of sharing strategic, operational and tactical information.
