Celebrate Women in Cybersecurity with us this Month
KASEY ELLOMarch is Women’s History Month and Tuesday, March 8 marks International Women’s Day. As is our tradition at ThreatQuotient, we’re celebrating with a month-long recognition of women in cybersecurity.
In the coming weeks, we’ll feature profiles on our blog of women in cybersecurity, both within ThreatQuotient and across the industry as a whole. Gianna Whitver and Maria Velasquez, founders of the Cybersecurity Marketing Society and Zeina Zakhour, Global CTO Digital Security are just a few of the women we will highlight. Be sure to come back to read their inspirational stories and learn how, in their own unique way, they are each making a difference and driving change.
In addition, two women – sisters in fact – will join us for what has become one of our most popular livestream events: “Hangin’ with Haig: Conversations Beyond the Keyboard.” Dedicated to looking beyond the marketing buzzwords, product pitches, and business cycles, this casual online discussion focuses on the force that makes the complex cybersecurity market turn: the people that are embedded within it. This isn’t a pitch or demo, but a highlight of a star player – whether it be a non-profit partner or SOC leader – who has a tale to tell. ThreatQuotient’s Director of Alliances, Haig Colter, is the host of this series.
In our next installment on March 29th, Haig will speak with two of the industry’s star players: Trish Cagliostro, Head of Worldwide Alliances at Wiz, and Jill Cagliostro, Senior Product Manager, Splunk Security Cloud. Haig will delve into how they (both!) got into cybersecurity, their mentors along the way, and what inspires them in their mission to help strengthen this industry. Join us to learn what they believe are some of the greatest obstacles of our time in cybersecurity and what it will take to overcome them. Register now to attend this don’t-miss event.
The number of women in cybersecurity is increasing rapidly and it’s an exciting time to be part of this industry. Let’s celebrate their successes and each do our part to help all women unleash their full potential!
