Jana Lind
ThreatQuotient – Regional Sales Director

Where do you work?
ThreatQuotient

How long have you worked here?
7 years and counting

What do you enjoy most about your job and company?
The people. ThreatQuotient has a unique variety of super talented people and fantastic customers.

How did you get into cybersecurity?
After 6+ years at Raytheon, I was interested in trying something new. One of my colleagues moved to a partner and encouraged me to make the jump.

What are your hopes for women in cybersecurity in the future?
It would be great to see a bigger mix of people out in the cybersecurity space. I know it’s headed in the right direction, but a more diverse group alway benefits the larger group.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is #EmbraceEquity. What does that mean to you?
Equity of pay, equity of work/life balance, we should all strive for more equity.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was young I wanted to be anything from a doctor to a travel war correspondent.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Work hard, be kind, shut up and listen.

Who is your female hero and why?
Venus and Serena Williams; growing up playing tennis in CA, I have always admired their hard work, push to be great, and overall fight for women’s rights (in tennis and elsewhere)
